Check not leaking from oil filter, may need to be tightened. Also Fuel pressure regulator on rear of engine drivers side, these can start to leak diesel, common on td5.

stevie d, i had the same thought
my 2001 had what i thought was an oil leak but never lost any, turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator leaking, as the fuel ran down teh side of the engine it was catching all the crap with it and it looked like oil underneath, dip a finger in the drip and smell it, feel teh texture you can tell. the regulator is right side of teh car towards teh bulk head, you need to lift the cover to get to it, easy enough to change just a bit fiddly |
