Really early 90/110s had the series style doors I think, then production up until 2005 (ish) had the welded steel frames with aluminium skins that rust to Censored and corrode, the later doors were pressed steel frames with steel skins.

If they're wind up windows they're all the same I think. There are options for tinted or non-tinted glass but they're the same shape.

I saw front doors, I realise now my response is fairly useless!

Some were all alloy - with double sliding windows. They were fitted to military Defenders and also some 110's. They are brilliant as they don't rust. Grab some if you can!

90/110's never ever had Series sliding door windows. They had the their own specific aluminium sliding style. The 90/110 sliding door windows are exactly the same as the military ones. Both parts slide and the windows are angled so they can slide further forward.

The Series are single window sliding, the windows are horizontal join and they are steel and rot horribly.

There is also 5mm (earlier) and 4mm (later) glass to contend with.

Edited to correct the sizing...

No one said they had the 'same' doors or windows as a Series, just that they had "Series style doors"- 'in the style of' doesn't mean identical.

No they aren't all the same - the early wind up window doors - 1984/1985 - had the series lift up door latches, with fake galvanised door cappings held on by plastic plugs. The galvanised door cappings were then dropped in 1986 but the latches were still the lift up Series versions which were then dropped for the push button type the following year.

Being a real pedant here and afaik the production 90’s (except for military versions as mentioned) were never fittted with the sliding windows in the all aluminium frames. However the few pre pro Ninetys were fitted with the aluminium framed door tops with sliding windows.

Given my username, I will say nothing about slidey versus wind-up windows other than civilian One Tens had their slideys until June 1984.

I have been offered a set of factory tinted windows from a Puma 110 for my 2005 110 TD5.

Any compatability problems with these?

Also what would a set be worth?

The original question was about the windows not the doors, Which I replied to. Did you even read the original post?

Yes, And the different window designs also need different doors - you would have missed that.
