2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Santorini Black

The only thing that bothers me with SGS is how the make claims about being a "UK Manufacturer" on their website. I've seen many people buying their jacks and engine cranes under the belief they're UK Made, and even online reviews making such claims but when actually the only thing SGS make in the UK are Gas Struts when you drill down into it.

All the jacks and stands they make appear to be the same rebranded Chinese ones that everyone else sells. SGS 'may' have higher quality control standards with their Chinese supplier, but there's no real way of knowing that.

But back to the original question.
I've got a Webber trolley jack, it depends what you mean by 'reasonably priced', but I think mine was less than £200 new. The built quality really is like night and day compared to the cheap ones. It has a two stage pump in it so it lifts quickly, but then changes down a gear when it takes up the load. The castors even have a slot machined into them with a rubber O-ring around it so it's nice and quiet when you drag it around the workshop.

Great info but I like what you have shown me. I have not actually bought anything yet but intend to very soon.
Got the Defender on a set of borrowed stands (well 3 and a borrowed trolley jack) wheels of for powder coating.
But I really need my own kit. Thanks for your help.
