I think the long overdue update on the RR is due to the new business taking off big time

what are the bodies like to restore on these compared to the defender? My dad said that they are riveted on Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Body's are completely different to defenders. The roof, wings and doors are the only bolt on panels - the rest is spot welded. As I replace panels I am seam welding them in to prevent moisture getting between the panels and in the box sections 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Great project! My Classic was probably my favourite car ever! I like your workshop, thinking of building or getting one built so I don't have to work outside anymore. Did you build yours yourself? |

Thank you
It was built by my parents friend who is a builder. (Also built their house amongst other things.) What did you want to know about it? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Update time
Rear crossmember has been cut out and a replacement welded in. So far it's had an extremely quick dash of primer. This will be done properly when I spray the shell. The main objective was to protect it. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge And now for the moment of truth. Did I get it in the correct place? Click image to enlarge Phew! Yes I did. This evening I made a start on the drivers sill before running out of welding wire 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

I think that now you have made your millions, you can employ someone to run the " vent " side of things and then you can concentrate on the RR work more
BTW great bit of progress Clayton. 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. |
