I reckon jaffa cakes also contribute as 1 of 5 a day.

Speaking of which, the last packet i opened only had 9 in. When i was a kid you used to get 12 in a packet and every now and then 13 if you were lucky.

The only time I count my Jaffa Cakes is when I've only got one left. Sad

I'm more confused than grumpy about this, but, why would you have a boxter s and dawdle along on a beautiful bit of tarmacadam just about designed for a sports car? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Not quite what I was calling him. If you are driving a sports car and there's a queue of traffic behind you, it could be said you are doing it wrong. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Driving a sports car doesn't compel you to drive fast in the same way that driving a Land Rover doesn't compel you to go mud plugging. Both can just be used for ordinary driving. Darren

The driver chooses to buy whichever car they want and drive it within the speed limit as they wish. Why the confusion? You posted the other day about drivers going too fast. Rolling Eyes
I would find it more confusing why someone who doesn't have a Defender would want to post on a Defender forum.

Perhaps this confusion you speak of should be aired on a Porsche forum.

Always fancied one. There just seems to be an exhaust pipe where the tow hitch should be so for that reason I never got one Rolling Eyes

No. On both occasions I have been concerned by persons not driving to the conditions. 50mph in an hgv when it is raining so hard you can't see more than 50 ft is inappropriate, in just the same way as dawdling along at 35mph in a sports car on a perfectly dry nsl A road in bright clear sunshine with a queue of maybe 12 odd cars behind you is also hardly appropriate.

Also just because I sold a car on that no longer meshed with my requirements doesn't mean that I immediately wiped my memory of useful information regarding it or that I am suddenly no longer interested in it. Nor does it mean that I don't value the opinions of some of the other members of that community. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Even apparently 'grown up' newspapers' glee in mocking wealthy people when something bad happens, such as in this case writing off a Ferrari? Is this news? Is this worthy of a chortle or pillory? Perhaps the owner was a hard-grafting self made individual who should be admired for their success and efffort? Perhaps the crash has wrecked their nerves, as is often the case whether crashing a Fiat or Ferrari, and they deserve a little concern in the part of the public. Perhaps it was their pride and joy and they'd spent years saving up an de deserve some sympathy. Nope, let's report that an anonymous person has wrecked their Ferrari as if it is worthy, yet slightly humourous, news because we Green eyed envious readers love seeing the mighty fall. Puerile beyond belief. Big Cry

Probably what the Porsche driver was trying to avoid.

Why the hell do Americans think that POTUS is the 'leader of the free world'?

He is certainly not MY leader.

IF he was the leader of the free world why does he preach 'America First'?

Why does the 'Leader of the Free World' world want to build a 'big beautiful wall' between him and a neighbour?

This so called 'Leader of the Free World' did not even get the majority of the public vote in the USA, let alone been elected by the people of the 'Free World'

At least we now know that he is both "modest" and a "genius", two qualities which I hadn't realised he possessed until he said so the other week. Shocked Rolling with laughter

What a moron!

(Although saying that is probably insulting to morons).
