Merry Chrismas everybody

Which battery should I take? Cannot decide between below 3 options.
Varta LFD90 (90ah)
varta blue dynamic G3 (95ah)
Varta silver dynamic H3 (100ah)

Car is used occasionally but always on Ctek charger when not used

You can't go wrong with any of those three. When my factory Varta battery was past its best after almost 9 years, dealer replaced it by the same which essentially is a LFD90. The blue dynamic you mention is not much different, also a wet cell battery, but the silver dynamic is a AGM battery. More expensive, and for normal use not really required. But you can't go wrong with any of those three.
Dus gooi een muntje op zou ik zeggen. Laughing
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

No matter which battery you have invest in a CTEK charger with a battery reconditioning mode and every two years or sooner use that mode and you will get the maximum life out of your battery.

I have even rescued dead batteries with the CTEK battery reconditioning mode.

Ditto on the CTEK charger - my Landie is only used circa once every ten days - I started having issues with the battery running down until I bought one of these. Depending on the charger you get, you get different couplings, one you can permanently wire up to your battery which has a connector - this connector plugs into the corresponding connector on the charger wire. It saves you on having to take the seat apart every time you want to get the charger on! 2007 Defender 90 XS
