Got some more bits painted today and went to D44 for some parts. Hopefully will be starting to put things back together at the weekend

looking neat there grafty, are you rebuilding the axles? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Just new brakes. I will clean and re pack the wheel bearings with grease and change the oil. I know the diffs are good in the other one so if they turn out to be noisy then I can just swap them over. So a major service of the axles really rather than a rebuild. Also as they don't leak then I'd rather not disturb the seals

I have the side steps from it as I didn't use them .

The full length galvanised step with rubber top was fitted from the factory . Fitted to the chassis not silk .

Chassis looks great . I'm on many a late night also on the LWT .

It's finally going back together! Got the rear axle mostly in today with the exception of a frame and boge unit. Hopefully start getting ready for fuel tank tonight and then make a start on the front axle tomorrow
