At the Peterborough show the guys from BAS took about 2.5 hours to fit mine. So maybe add another hour or so on top of that if you haven’t done it before.

I think there is a thread on here about it with some pointers, if I remember correctly the person posting it dented his wings in the process so be careful DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

if you changes the hoses, you have to remove the air filter box, taking that out and putting back in is the hardest part.
The slam panel has studs, use double nuts on the studs to remove (lock one onto the other to remove the stud) I replaced the studs with bolts. If you are changing the hoses you may as well carry out the air box mod to improve airflow while the air box is out Hole thing took me 6 hours but I was changing all my bolts to stainless and just potching about So slam panel off, lean the air con rad forward remove intercooler remove air box fit silicone hoses locate inter cooler etc then have a cry while trying to refit the air box wondering how the hell did I get this out all done |
