Try covering the radiator grill with a bin liner or similar, it's cold out and defenders tend to be overcooled.

Mines a td5 admittedly, but it won't get warm at idle, and even once it's warmed up, if I sit at idle for long enough it will gradually cool back down. As said, they are overcooled!

Left mine ticking over for quite a while yesterday after it had been on a long run and the temp fell to 68 on my Ultraguage.

You'll never get it to temperature on tickover.

Take it for a good hard drive then do the calibration. Either that or you need to bring the engine up to 1500-2000 revs for a sustained period while stationary.

OK thanks to your help Ive managed to get my engine hot.
Unfortunately I'm getting 'failed to complete pilot correction' message together with the number 80. Any ideas? |

I tried it again after 20 minute wait and it worked. |
