No injuries thankfully. The defender has a bent tow plate and straps, deformed tow ball and dented rear tailgate (from the spare wheel).
I hope there is no hidden damage, but bodyshop who have it seem to be a real professional and quite unique outfit, so I have a lot of faith they will do a (probably better than new) job. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

yes sir, that's the one. I was asking for some opinion on what hidden damage I should look for before taking it into the garages for an estimate. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

While the 90 is away being repaired, I’ve bought a few bits and bobs to make me feel better about it getting damaged!
One thing is an Ultragauge. I’ve been collecting parts to build one into the dash and with an evening to myself I decided to make a start. Progress to follow. If anyone knows the amount/source for the colour screen filters to match the green dash, please let me know! Thanks Click image to enlarge My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

The 90 is still away at the Bodyshop, I am told should be back this week.
I was worried I wouldn’t miss it, but I really have! I’ve been working on my ultra gauge dash install, I can’t do any more without a defender now. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My list of new parts to fit is growing too! - matching Sawtooth Alloy for spare - Mantec Wheel carrier - Cruise control - New VCV Valve - New reverse light switch - Superpro panhard rod bushes - New LED DRL front bumper - New Front Mud guard brackets - Pair of new numberplates So I’ll be busy when it comes back! Will also need an MOT, service, and a couple of jobs doing that I can’t - so will be taking a trip to a local specialist in the near future My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |
