thank you
Yes, I "upgraded" when I changed cars - its an older trailer but its twin axle and it fits in my garage at home, so I can store it all without having to pay to store it at a yard which is what I used to do. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

Exactly, it's better all round
It's actually slower! It's a specific class of around 40 matched spec cars. It runs mk2 escort running gear; 1300 x-flow engine and rear axle etc! Old style! But they are made to keep racing costs down and keep the cars matched so the biggest budget doesn't mean picking up the trophies! It's my first outing this weekend at Rockingham, steep learning curve My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

thanks! I've been to croft a few times with my previous car, its a great circuit. The Locost series does go to croft most years, but they have already been this year so I suspect it will be May / June when I'm there next. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

thank you! I've just upgraded it a little more; I saw for sale on here a pair of the extended seat bases so drove down to the coast on Saturday to pick them up. I always wanted a set but at the time of buying the seat kits, it seemed wasteful to end up with 2 sets of brand new seat bases. Very pleased with them, they make a big difference to comfort on a long drive. We also took advantage of TMD’s sale over the weekend and ordered cruise control – looking forward to that on long journeys with the trailer in tow! I fitted the front seat bases and changed the plugs to retain my heated seats (they had LR connectors)
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I’ve also contacted Britpart as I saw they changed their DRL front bumper to a Ring DRL unit. Unfortunately they don’t fit my bumper, however they offered to send me a complete new bumper and lights free of charge as I’ve had so many LED units fail. Ironically the pair in there at the moment have been fine for months! I’ve also got some SuperPro bushes to fit for my front Panhard rod as I’ve got a bit of wobble at speeds. I had to take a few pics for insurance, she comes up well Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

Thank you for all the kind notes, but unfortunately not everyone shares the same view; someone took a dislike to the rear of my defender last week...
Click image to enlarge It's in for assessment today so I hope it will be rectified and returned very soon. My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |
