Interesting...it's got a much earlier radiator grill panel with the hole for a bonnet lock, which made me wonder. I suspect that the top of my bulkhead is in a similar condition and I'm going to get it booked in for repair after Christmas Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Another bit done this evening but spent ages looking for the right Allen key. Think I'll have to get more organised.
I got the vents off and then hit problems with the passenger side wiper splined fitting seized on the spindle so couldn't remove the wiper motor etc and consequently could not remove the dash backing panel. I jury rigged a reservoir the keep the spindle soaked in WD40 for the next couple of days while I'm in work. A cut down water bottle and the finger from a nitrile glove as a seal around spindle. It seems to be holding a level for now anyway. Click image to enlarge |

Hi Profyaffle, Yes I am keeping the colour scheme as that is what people comment on most when I'm out and about. I have the hard top roof and side panels but I think I'll leave it as is for now. I have a set of Goodyear MTRs that may go on if I could decide whether to go for green or limestone or white Wolfs or Heritage look Freestyles. But all that is for another day. |
