Yes, must admit I was pleased that it's been reliable so far Very Happy

Anyway after using it daily over the last month or so, and not doing a great deal to it - I decided to make a start on the carpet that turned up from Exmoor trim at the start of August.
Before starting I double checked for leaks around the door areas as the last thing I wanted was wet carpets, all was good surprisingly. The only leak I could find was around the d/s rear slider which seems to be lose along the bottom edge and allowing water in, so this will need removing and re riveting and bonding back in place, something I'll do in the next week or so before carpeting the rear out.
I had already fitted silent coat previously so even though the carpet had a soundproofing backing I decided to fit 6mm thick dodo liner to areas that, allowed once fitted I glued the carpet in place
So far done the front bulkhead, seatbox, and side kick plates so got a long way to go.

As with most defender jobs it's been a bit more time consuming than I initially thought however the carpet fits well with only minimal trimming needed, though there is a couple of pieces that I cannot work out for the life of me where they go Laughing 1999 300TDI 110 CSW BMW 3.0

Cheers, carpeting is one of those jobs best left to last, plus it gave me enough time to save up for it - as in my case it was one of the most expensive purchases.

Anyway on the subject of carpet , I managed to get a bit more done, mainly the 2nd row seats. I started with pulling the rear seats to make the job easier

The most fiddly part was trimming around the mounting brackets of the seats , but in the end it doesn't look to bad

I thought the carpet was already trimmed up, do you have to tweak a little? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Yes in so much as round the rear puma seats mounting points bearing in mind it's a carpet set for a 300tdi, overall though it's not to bad. 1999 300TDI 110 CSW BMW 3.0

Tried fitting the decals I bought to hide the scratch on the passenger side doors. Only done near side so far but it doesn't look too bad, with most of the scratch hidden

Here's some poor quality pictures to look at
