This little box came last Thursday and was very very good service, only had to wait a few days...........................
Click image to enlarge In the box was this bright piece of art ................................................. Click image to enlarge Yesterday i got a chance to fit it and see what it looks like, very happy with it but i did ask if i could get it in black, the answer was no will see if i can get use to the colour Also, yesterday i put a new fuel cap on as my one had started leaking again metal screws into plastic does not do, you just cant tighten them up enough so the time had come to find a new one, after searching and searching i found a company that does thousands off them but as mine is a 300 tdi ( from Td5 model onwards was screw thread ) the choice apart from the original was only 2 locking and non locking, so i took the gamble and this is whats it looks like......................... Click image to enlarge The black piece/cover slides round to reveal the key hole to unlock it Click image to enlarge It looks very well made and feels very solid Only time will tell how it holds up, so i will let you know from time to time how its getting on 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. That's one big dog and I agree on the t shirt tan
Went out for a 10 mile bike ride today with the kids and wife, so the sw was loaded up with 5 bikes to drive up to the trans pennine trail. The youngest only learned to ride a couple of months ago but then broke her elbow so this was her first big ride and she managed the whole ten miles Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html Last edited by mk1collector on 13th Aug 2017 10:13pm. It's an Optimill steering wheel lock when you have the Optimill quick release boss then you put this on and they cant pinch your boss as before they could by undoing the nut or they could put there own steering wheel on but not now 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
