Carlacc, yes thule bars, but I have added a side rail to it which can take an awning, the item on the roof is my RV2 Oztent not foxwing

Thanks for getting back, is the side rail something you bought or fabricated? I'm keen on the idea of a foxwing and oztent, but added to a roof rack starts adding up and wouldn't mind being able to take the rack off so I can still get in the local car parks! Does the foxwing zipped to the Oztent work well for you? |

Seb, Down to the south you can found gas stations every 300 - 400 km. Main problem is that sometimes they don't have diesel or are closed at night (happens to me twice in the trip). For this reason 80 extra liters give me in the safe side. Taking a note that the yield towing the popup in bad roads has been reduced drastically to 6.7 km/lt. That gives me an autonomy of 971 km, far enough to found a gas station if 2 were closed or do not have diesel. The rail is something I bolted rather than fabricaed, see my gallery. Don't have a fox wing, check kens gallery he does and it like smart, do a search for foxing as there is a recent post about it and the oztent The £'s can add up but you can always buy a commercial rack for 100squid of eBay, and and an awning/army basha, will do nearly the same thing for a fraction of the cost |
