Police spec springs were deemed the best for RR.

I seem to recall the rears were significantly stiffer than standard to cope with the weight of the standard kit that was carried in a motorway spec police Range Rover, they helped to reduce the amount of rolling.

I'm hoping to retain the range rover ride comfort with slightly sharper handling so unfortunately stiffer isn't what I'm after. I have already got a custom rear anti roll bar to fit that is 33mm diameter so should control the roll a bit better than the standard 19mm version.

Lowering would help with the roll centre and as it is already lowered but on unknown springs I wanted to change to a known quantity.

I'm looking forwards to getting it back together

Haven't got far as we are at our busiest on site so not much free time. Taking the chassis to be blasted today which is a bit of progress

I have spoken to them but they were being a bit awkward about whether they'd do it or not. When I said it was a chassis they wanted pictures - to see if it was something they'd be able to do which, considering the size of their facilities, seemed odd. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

when you start getting messed about like that, they don't really want the work. I get the same Cinderella story about why tyre places wont balance a set of none centre wheels!
Cost be 600 quid last year, to get a set of wheels, get them tidied up and put tyres on, all for the sake of every bloody tyre centre in Sunderland wont balance them! One out of the area, kept messing me about, saying they will do them and then they would change their mind, after i got there! We are talking nearly 40 mile around trips here.
