I don't mind Laura Kuenssberg. The level of abuse she recieves on Twitter is shocking. She only has to mention Corbyn or his shadow cabinet ministers and the vitriol starts within seconds. Sad times.

That is sad and unnecessary. I don't rate her as a reporter for a variety of reasons but there is a huge difference between criticism and abuse. No call for the latter at all.
I have heard that she is despised by the Labour luvvies, and that, in my book, is something she has in her favour. |

Although, no one should have to put up with abuse of any kind, Journalists (including Ms Kuenssberg) court Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and every other social media platform out there so the answer is if you do not want abuse, remove yourself from the problem (as Sue Perkins did after the Top Gear false news story).
It is quite amazing what people will say on Social Media, some of it very unpleasant. I am one of those very few people without Facebook or Twitter accounts (I am on LinkedIn but that was only because I was pressured from work to do so). I have seen things on other peoples Facebook accounts, written by people I thought I knew, saying some very unsavory stuff. I am sure none of which they would say to a persons face or in public. Social media seems to create a shield that ordinary people seem to hide behind. Don't even get me started on the issues with Children and social media. I genuinely feel for all of you parents out there with Children. I take my hat off to Martin as the Defender2 Forum does not seem to put up with any unpleasantness. I have only twice (I think) had to report posts on here. And both times Martin was aware of the situation and the posts taken down fairly sharpish. If only Twitter and Facebook were as well policed. |

Bananas. Why don't bananas taste like bananas anymore? Some of the ones we have got from Sainsbury's and Tesco's lately have either been tasteless or woody tasting.
Some of the best ones have been from those German cut price retailers. Aldi and Lidl. Is it me or can no one else work out which one is which? Is it my age? Luckily they have built one of each in the next town along from me on opposite sides of a roundabout which saves my poor brain any confusion. |

Just be glad that LIDL do not use their other company names in the UK, such as, Schwarz Unternehmens, Treuhand, Handelshof and Kaufland. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Mine just switches it off so that I cannot hear or see her. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Agree, most bananas taste like crap, certainly those in nearby French supermarkets. For me the only good tasting bananas are Chiquita, cannot find those in France at all, so we buy in our more expensive Swiss supermarkets. But the advertisement is correct to say: "It's not just a banana, it's a Chiquita". You never actually own a Defender. Two allegedly separate arms of the same company both operating in the same field supplying the same or similar products one with a reputation for being cheap the other more professional and quality. Same product same time, value brand is twice as much as the professional brand. Shame on you. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

If it weren't for its supermarket prices, not really, no. Although, down south, in the Provence Maritime, I do like one particular hotel and it's restaurant. Eric You never actually own a Defender.
