I think ive spotted you once, but the wave would have meant nothing as not in a defender Defender puma dormobile camper |

Cheers for all the comments - really sorry if I missed your wave Tom! I don't tend to have the Defender down in Essex much (the sea air is killing all my garage tools and my Mini, so I hate to think what it would do to the Defender!). Will keep an eye out for a tidy looking Merc from now on!

By the way, top service from Gavin at Artmin Design - after 4 years my rear badge has become a bit tatty with the black resin cracking and coming off. Gavin has assured me that this was only an issue with early badges and he will refurbish it for me f.o.c. Top bloke!
I'm now considering a couple of subtle wing badges from him, as well as some more retro-looking 'L A N D R O V E R' lettering for the bonnet... Updates to follow... |

More retro loveliness from Gavin at Artmin Design arrived this morning...
Click image to enlarge Fully refurbished rear badge in the latest textured black finish, plus some smaller badges for the rear bottom corner of the front wings and one for the centre console. Oh and a cool little keyring too! Still pondering what to do with the bonnet badge, may just remove it. Top quality items, very pleased with them... |

Centre console one fitted:

Hopefully minimal effect on cooling (uk climate not too extreme!), certainly no worse than having a big winch up front. Used a galvanised & powder coated bracket designed for use on series landies: Click image to enlarge I've also ordered a pair of pressed aluminium number plates (still 100% legal) to continue the theme of getting rid of all the plastic tat off the front of mine! |

Hi Tolley,
They were from Artmin Design (Gavin): http://www.artmindesign.co.uk His email address is in the site header. Not sure about the price for the large one as I was only having mine refurbished (bought it 4 years ago) - best to speak with Gavin directly to get an idea. He's a pleasure to deal with. Cheers, Steve. |

They were from eBay (seller: numberplatesl) - thought they were worth a gamble at £17.50 for the pair. Quality looks good, we'll see how they last...
