I have got a bit smaller one, a twin axle with sides on that i use for work, its on here somewhere

Well with the move iminante and me going home for a few weeks today was the day to load one of my trailers with the chassis and the majority of parts I have slowly purchased for Maggie.

The first job was to make the chassis more manoverable, I have rebuilt the rear axle and have all the bits I need to put it onto the chassis. At this point I would like to say; yes bolts will be replaced with the correct ones once I purchase, I have a new aframe and ball joint, the springs need a new coat since my mate covered them in white overspray and yes there are a few scratches than need touching up.

So build the rear chassis:

And then winch it into the trailer:

Then pack the rest of my bits in emptying my garage complete, it looks fine in a garage but soon fills a trailer

After all this hard work it was time for some chips and a nice pint of Guernsey cider I found whilst emptying the garage

Slow but sure, emptying the garage

Yes it is a big surprise when you start moving stuff that you have collected and you say to yourself, where did all this come from

You cant beat a good cider

( i have not tried that one that you have in your hand

It sure is amazing what you find in the back of a garage!

Well as I am a fan of spreading the love of the Guernsey Rocquettes cider I might have to put a few in the disco when I travel to my new place

getting there mash, starting to take shape there chassis wise. Something I would love to do to mine, some point down the line. Do a cracking rebuild like this, are you going to be tuning the V8? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Unfortunately Greeni the project will be in the Uk and I will be in Guernsey so I won't be able to do anything to her

Engine wise yes Procta I have a set of stage 1 heads, improved cam, huge 4 barrel carb and a new electronic ignition kit to go on.

Well I'm back sort of

after a nice 6 week break I swapped Jasmin for Fiona with Swmbo and loaded up Maggie for her trip south. Now I'm still manic for the next few weeks so the new chassis and work will have to wait a while
