Spent the day doing some gentle green lanes up in Weardale and just nipping into Cumbria briefly, an extremely wet day with lots of floods and we missed 2 fords out as they were just too dangerous to cross

Replaced the missing bolt and bushes on the rear ARB and while I was at it, replaced the big rubber bushes for the ARB to chassis. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Towed some unfortunate soul out of the gravel bed surrounding the tram tracks. Not a great place to park a car.
Lot of fun and earned some applause from the waiting tram drivers & passengers. Great to be able to put a defender to use in an urban environment 😁 |

I keep seeing these Defenders under foam. What is Tim people wash them with? I hand sponge mine, that looks easier! 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

^^ Looking at the country flag next to your avatar, did you have to pass the Swiss "mot" again?
And next maintenance will be at "Autobritt" again? Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I was nervous cutting into our 1989 90, so god knows how you people with newer models feel doing the same!!! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Andy |
