SNP both Nationalist and Socialist wit a populist leader. Didn't that end badly last time it was given control of a country? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

If Scotland currently export £50Bn to rUK, why would that change with Independence?
Scotland was told the only way to stay in the EU was to vote No to independence. Look how that turned out Scotland was told that a No vote would bring a whole range of new powers for the Scottish Gov... Now we have control of our road signs We now have deep and constant cuts to the Scottish budget Is it any wonder Scotland is off... |

There's an interesting article about Sturgeon's "Ill Judged Strategy" on www.brexitcentral.com

Currently all that's gonna happen is she's gonna ask for permission, which the only affect from that is uncertainty for the future (exactly the same as brexit). And as with brexit no one knows what that will bring until it's all done.
Listening to look Scotland this morning they were commenting about an employment survey in Scotland and there is a reluctance for companies in Scotland for a lot of sectors to increase their workforce due to the uncertancy. Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

But that survey would have been conducted BEFORE the 2nd independence referendum was announced.
Also in the report, it was stated the uncertainty came from Brexit |

Tell me if im wrong, but dont you as a country have to pay a certain fee or sum to get into the the EU - a sum the scots cant affiord to pay. So if they cant affird to join the EU, what are theyre options? I heard they want to keep the pound even if they left the union.....

I think this is the problem I have with Scotland. The rest of the U.K. are trying to do what's best for the uk, but Scotland are trying to do what's best for Scotland Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

After Scottish Independence, EU membership will be essential for Scotland. Otherwise they'll have nobody to blame for every minor thing that goes wrong. Heaven forbid the Scots take any personal responsibility.

It may have been conducted before the announcement but it's only attributed to brexit as the announcement handent been made. Which doesn't mean that there will be more or less uncertainty. Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

I would suggest that we as the UK voted on whether to stay in the E.U. or not, we did not vote as four different Countries.
It is the U.K. that joined the E.U. not four different Countries. The sooner the Northern Irish, Scots and Welsh leaders realise this and help to do what's is best for the U.K. the better. On the other hand all those that oppose Brexit can move to Scotland and play happy families with S.N.P. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
