For my 110, i strapped the cable to the trailer harness as far as the seat box under the car, then strapped it to the harness from the seatbox up into the engne bay before poking it through the rubber grommet in the bulkhead behind the dash.
Have a look on Topix for the cable routing for the 13 pin trailer harness that gets you as far as the seat box. |

Cable tie it to the fuel lines that run down the top of the chassis leg, then up the bulkhead and in through the rubber grommet at the back of the dash. Ray

As above I've run a few cables on mine same way but I put the cables in some trunking as well

Yes I had thought of ziptie-ing the cable to the fuel lines, but dismissed the idea for fear of abrasion of the fuel lines. It doesn't hurt then? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

If it's adequately tied on then it shouldn't move enough to abrade.

no more than the plastic clips that hold the fuel line as standard.
