Sorry should have read PCJ's
Piston cooling jets lock into zero flow when cold and no oil gets to the lower parts of the bores (or something like that) once warm they unlock and operate correctly. Only affects early 2007 modles and only cure is to replace engine. There is a GTR out and it is posted here somewhere. |

Yep because of the early engine rough start problem I presume its the PCJ issue. I simply printed out the GTR that Miserableolgit posted here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic472.ht...ace+engine walked into the dealer threw it at the nice warranty man he emailed LR and got the reply 'Do as described on the GTR' Who is your dealer? |

I have jsut been on the phone to the manager and he has asked me to fax over the GTR as well as details as to what Andrews 110 was doing and what he said to his dealers to get the engine. He seems pretty helpful. Andrew are you ok with this? I wont mention your name or anything. PM if you have issues. I am desparate here!!! |
