From TMD Tuning's website .....

However the Diff lock lever is not so simple, as the original lever does need to be modified.

You have to remove the outer gear lever rubber knob, this will require cutting, once removed you need to cut the metal lever at the required length to enable fitment of the new lever, the metal lever will require cutting with a angle grinder.

Not very detailed is it Crying or Very sad

didn't take one of how i cut it but fairly easy to explain with the following...

i sliced the existing transfer stick off, theres a nylon white bit left on the steel bar, you don't need a angle grinder like stated just a good quality blade...

Been busy as installed a slick shift at the same time and it rattles like you wouldn't believe, shifts beautifully but that rattle...

Will re install my SVX gearstick and see if its the weights... otherwise hopefully this ghetto tape fix for the slick shift works otherwise I'm not a happy bunny having just stuck down a brand new premium carpet set ill have to tear up Evil or Very Mad

This is the required length to cut it, i eye balled it and got it mm perfect...

TJ, your lever looks to be fitted 180 degrees out to the ones in the stock pics

Did you get the rattle on the Bowler stick as well? Ive got the rattle on the standard lever (and it isn't the weights). Was hoping a different lever would solve it.

Correct, Well spotted

Works for me, when fitted the other way round, Cubby lid opens, Levers fall to hand better from cubby lid California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Rattle on all 3 gear sticks, bowler being worse...

I've taped it and done the weights now which is better but still get a rattle

I was also at probably the most 'premium' defender modifiers yesterday who also said they've had a fair few issues with them...
