There's silver chequer plate on the steps and it really niggles at me!
The Blindo's have the right amount of offset too, they sit the same as the boosts did with 1" spacers. |

Orkney Grey with BFG AT KO2 235/85 on white wolf wheels.
Click image to enlarge Finally after months of deliberation and hours of online review reviewing I decided to change my Grabber TRs for BFG AT KO2. I have had TR’s for about 11 years and done about 130k over two sets without any issues however felt it was time for a change as tyre design must have moved on since the TR were released. Key criteria for the new tyres was good road handling inc wet traction and reasonable winter capability. BFG seem to have the highest score for wet braking compared to many of the other options such as Grabber AT/AT2/AT3, Nokian ATR, Cooper AT3 and even more road biased alternatives. My existing wolf wheels were getting a bit tatty and with using the car every day, the easiest option was to get a new set of rims with the tyres rather than getting them refurbed. I got a good price for tyres and wheels from Paddocks including locking wheel nuts, that was cheaper than 4x4tyres.co.uk and very quick delivery. I was pleased to see the tuff torque wolf style wheels I got look no different in quality/thickness that my old OEM ones. I was surprised how few balancing weights are fitted to the rims. None on the outside. All tested at motorway speeds and it is surprising how quiet the tyres are. No difference in noise to the TRs. |

Those new wheels and tyres look very cool.
Does this mean that you have a set of tatty Wolf rims going spare? (where's the circling vulture smilie when you need one?) Certainly does, though I doubt a cost effective option transporting from one end of the country to the other!

Ha, ha, you're probably right. In my haste, I didn't spot that you were at the other end of the country Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
