Andrew, thanks for the link and the update, I must have missed that thread. It looks as though he ended up with a gem.

How cool is it also to have one which was built 287 vehicles after the last one off the line!

Not yet. Maybe that's where it will shine. Where I live we usually get one or 2 days per year with a bit of ice and snow. None this winter.

When I had issues with mine I suggested to LR that I'll drive the car with the DSC turned off, they were not keen on that idea at all. I presume that if you have an accident with the DSC turned off you could land yourself in a bit of trouble, hence why LR told me not to turn it off (even though I felt it was safer off ).

Keep an eye on your brake dust build up on the wheels, my white 110 was covering the wheels in brake dust after 200 miles. Compared to my current 110 that hardly has any built up.

The driveability between my white 110 and current 110 is miles apart, it might be worth having a drive in another Defender the same as yours, you might feel a big difference if you're used to yours handling the way it does.

To this day I still have no idea what was actually wrong with the white one Confused

The DSC is required for Type Approval on the later models and I imagine that disabling it would cause all manner of issues if found out. It would certainly cause major issues if LR was found to have instructed, sanctioned, or advised you to do so.

I do have a bit of brake dust building up on the front wheels but nowhere near that rate. But I don't know you see, I can understand it kicking in when it does if I would have been on snow or ice or something.
Just to mention again, there are never any issues on good flat road.
I don't know anyone else with a 90 with DSC so I can't really try it. This is my first 90 and the nature of the 90 is a lot bumper than the 110s I've previously had.
