Agreed, although if I owned a 90 I would rather people called it a Defender rather than a Jeep. I have two Defenders and the amount of people who call them Jeeps For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

£3.50 for a 500ml can of beer on First Great Western. £170 for a first class return from Worcester to Paddington with tube ticket. The journey times are slower than in the days of steam. 2h 10 is the quickest train now, it was sub 2h when I started getting it 20 years ago. Many years ago there used to be a Cathedral express only stopping at Worcs, Oxford, London, but the political gentry living on route make it difficult to cut out stops at Charlbury, Moreton in Marsh etc, despite the fact the train doesn't fit alongside the platform.
It breaks me that I have to pay more for an ever slower service on the same line and same rolling stock (with a fresh lick of paint and some new seats). I've watched Falling Down and remember the scene in the fast food restaurant! |

People with answer machines that say "All our operators are busy Please leave a brief message and your telephone number and we will contact you as soon as possible" you leave the details as required.
I'm waiting for 3 firms to ring me back so that I can tell them I went with a company that answers phones. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

When did it become acceptable for drivers on dual carriageways not to dip for oncoming traffic? It's become an absolute epidemic in the South West now, and is antisocial, offensive, and dangerous. Illegal too.

Corporations man.
Just ugh, getting me down. The company I am having issues with has referred me to there insurance company which just so happens to be in the same group of the parent company of the company I am having issues with. To put it in English, its like the tail is wagging the dog and I'm being told to talk to where the tail joins the dog not the head as the head is the same animal but a different section. Seriously considering taking the money, selling the truck, putting the money in a Ford F250 and severing all ties with a hobby which I have lived and breathed for years. Which is very sad but that is an indicator of the treatment I have been receiving. Cyclists who insist upon riding up the road when there's a purpose built segregated cycleway alongside. It should in my view be illegal to ride in the road wherever a cycleway has been provided. I can't honestly understand why anyone would do this anyway, but round here they are like a plague. |

2h 10? Don't know you're born. I'm only 20 odd miles away in Hereford. Over 3 hours from here. Why Malvern needs 2 stations and Worcester 3 is beyond me. And Colwall is half Ledbury, half Malvern. How that place justifies a station i'll never know.... |

Many cycle lanes are covered in fine gravel, broken glass and at this time of the year hawthorne hedge cuttings, it is much safer on the main carriageway, on there you just need to look out for the poor standard of driving by motorists. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper |

Not round here, they're not, and most cyclists use them.
