Hard luck John, if you can get a Discovery drop arm and change it for that, they're much easier to sort in the future, if you get caught out timewise to get the arb joints simply take the arb off as they can't test what isn't there. I've never had one fitted since it left the factory. It's like high level brake lights, if it's there and not working then it's a fail but if it's not there in the first place then they can't fail it

It was hard luck. Work done now by the garage. Rear ARB links I could have done/removed but not having a puller for the steering arm I would have struggled in the drive, in the cold! MOT, 2 x ARB links and Steering arm £230 with VAT.... Other than that an advisory on slightly frayed drivers seat belt. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Hello,
Just wondering if I can use Jate rings on my defender if I brought some for recovery points Just wondering if they are strong enough for recovering other vehicles if I had a kinetic rope attached on aswell??? Also if they are good for recovering, what's the best way to fit them. MT Arran |

Rewired the LED spot light plug so now both work.
Removed the old drivers door seal and replaced with a new Puma style one. (old square door frame) 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
