Well call me a liar if you want but I can get 400 miles from a tank. What do I have to gain by lying about it?
Currently on 205 miles with way more that half a tank indicated......

OK... So not a TD5... But I have to agree with Grafty... Our 2016 2.2 TDCi 90 will do close to 400 on a tank... JUST!!!

Tim It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

I run standard diesel with 350ml of two stroke oil per tank.

I use Shell v-power or BPultimate when I need fuel near one of the two. None near home though so mainly texaco + 2 stroke oil which is our nearest Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

The noise is very addictive, it does take quite a bit of self control Twisted Evil

I add 2 stroke oil because current low sulfur diesel has very few lubricating properties. The 2 stroke oil lubricates everything from the fuel pump to the injectors.
I notice much smoother and quieter running with the 2 stroke oil. If you have a search on Google I'm sure you will find a much more technical explanation than mine. Just clicked over 117k miles on the original fuel pump so it must do something as Td5 fuel pumps aren't the most reliable Rolling Eyes 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I'm surprised that it works out to be 30mpg - that's what I'm getting, but my light comes on at 330 and the most I've put in is around 55 litres..... so maybe if I kept going I'd get 400 too?

Have you ever run out of fuel? Or suffered from crap in the bottom of the tank with running it so low?
