Seriously impressed with how comfy it feels. Wasn't quite sure how it would be with the tail kick effect at the back but with feet over the tub and sholuders up over the ladder it feels very natural yo have the slight incline. I had decided on going for an Oz Tent instead of the tourer kit but am now back on the fence again.... |

hi
very nice! 3 questions ....Tc ... the tent is not on the rack is it ? It's on top of the hood sticks? Is that a hood stick set home made ? Have any more picks of it ? Cheers Check out my gallery and you will see a decent picture of the cage. It was made by Sonic3d...he passed it onto me (he now has a D3). The workmanship is excellent. I have modified it by removing the brackets he fabricated for a full length Patriot rack. I initially tried to work around them to preserve them but couldn't make it work. They have now gone and I am using the light brackets with spacers to secure the tent. The spacers are currently in timber to draft the right profile, once right, I will get some steel made up to make it permanent. The short rack and the tent are almost perfect in profile, it keeps the tent lower as well....I like the way it looks, very pleased with it. |

Cheers for the comments chaps
The rack will hold the spare (solving my wheel storage problem) on one side, and a custom, low profile storage box on the other. Will be the usual chequer plate sort but with custom dimensions. Will be getting it powder coated to match the two I have from Sonic for the tub. |
