The lower frequemcy vibration i had was the one where it felt like the engine was shaking out of its mounts.
Infact it felt like a mount had failed. This fault only occurred under sustained load at an rpm below 2000. I think 1750 was the worst. Towing really showed the fault.

For me that's exactly the point. So I will try to change my gearobox and engine support as soon as possible. I allready did so many things. Cash and time begins to miss a bit.

It's a bit hard to make a good sealing part between snorkel and airbox as I saw on this page. Is it possible first only remove the restriction part in the airbox and the little plastic fan?

Every little helps.

Here are 2 photos I sent a friend for a laugh. They tell a story. The pound coin is being held up to a joint in the original system. Its the bit that connects directly to the air intake.

Cetane OK you think, that if i will disconnect the pipe from airbox and take a drive - vibrations will go away? Smile

For Strang3rr best thing is to try, but in my case It didn't change anything. The too hi torque of my map was the only cause of vibrations.
