Mate, hello from Aussie again.
Can't see the detail of course, but from your images, that engine bay looks absolutely SENSATIONAL, the LS3 absolutely looks as if it was meant to be there. Love the cowls etc at the front of the engine/radiator area etc. Are you still running Air-Cond? Are you running the standard Defender instruments/panel? I shall be waiting for you to "try" to explain what it's like when, as I've said previously, you "put the pedal to the metal"?....ie,....The first time you experience a full throttle change from 1st to 2nd at 5500rpm!! Awesome, Pickles. |

Not to steal any of mr mcma's thunder but i did go up for a wee nose tonight, Have to say quality of the work is amazing. ohh and the note... its defiantly not short of bark. Very sweet sounding though, he will need half as much sound deading as the 12v lol

Yes mate, aircon, instruments all the same, you wouldn't know it's been touched. I am having new dials made, nothing ott, but with the 'diesel' changed to petrol. Have to say though the guys from Wildcat are unreal, they are quietly turning out these beasts. It's a father and son that do the installs and boy do they know their stuff! Looks like we might all have to consider doing the conversion. Like I needed a reason....

I thinking about them garage door covers.....perhaps I could get something similar for my engine bay.....perhaps a V12.
and PA to replay recordings of a juicy motor then I have the best of both worlds - 40mpg and the sound of a V12 or V8 perhaps? one other thing MCMA - glad to see you've spruced the engine bay up and sorted the label on the brake reservoir one other thing..... OOH |

That engine bay is stunning! The subtle badging a nice touch especially the like the 'petrol' badge near the filler!

go on then I'll ask if no one else will.
what sort of money are we looking at for engine and manual gearbox conversion only. (yes I know the brakes would be a foolish one to over look, which would then mean new wheels and tyres etc.. but to have the V8 engine and presumably there's a manual corvette box option? round figures? and one other thing - which is the more expensive - the conversion you've had done or the insurance |
