I'm guessing it's a TD5 with an R380 gearbox and std axles?
If so, you can use EP90 for both axles and the transfer box BUT not in the gearbox. For the gearbox you need MTF94. I recollect that a 1/2 drive will do most of it with a torx T55 for one of the fillers - but I can't remember without looking. I think there's a typo in the OP and his 90 is an '89. In which case, it'll have an LT77 gearbox that uses ATF.
EP90 for the diffs and transfer box still, though. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

The plugs in the axles are 1/2" like the most common socket wrench.
The drain plug of the R380 is either a large hex (with a single use copper gasket ring) until 2004, or a 3/8" square like a medium socket wrench (on defenders at least). Tight space, a 1/2" socket with adapter to 3/8" won't fit unless you remove the drive shaft at the gearbox. Don't overtighten when refitting them, especially the drain plug. Despite having taken care the last time, I'm now struggling with it and have 'unsquared' the hole in doing so. Make sure to check first if you can unscrew the filler plugs. Good luck in dodging the oil |
