Wiper wiring
Still have troubles with the intermittent and park on the wipers. MY2011 defender 90 and the moror and park switch has been changed. Along with the relay and before all that the switch was. The spray function only works if I put it on to wipe and quick wipe too!

Has the switch been changed at all and I don't suppose anyone has a diagram or picture of the wires coming out the back of it?

Cheers wil

This wiring correct? Bridging the yellow green wire to the red green made the intermittent work. Also on one of the cables is a negative flow on one. Would this suggest that the switch is fine or that something more sinister is going on with my electrics?

Thank you both.

Does that mean that the switch I have is not for the puma and is td5 or later?

I do yes. And the wash does work but doesn't set the wipers to work.

1. Bridging white / green wire to light green black at the switch will wash pump work ?

2. with your meter with the wiper switch in intermittent can you see 12v between white green small wire and black or body neg (two of the same colours going from wiper switch to windscreen delay unit one is white and green 1mm and the other is 1.5mmDI at your wiper switch

3. white green1.5mm is feed from fuse box 12v and can power on and off the ignition switch

4. white green 1mm go from the switch to the windscreen delay unit only to power intermittent wipe good to check this wire are in the right places

Sound like wiring cross over or bad earth, have you ways had trouble with wipers and wash pump not working

my pay to con check the wring point to point with multimeter i.e. from wiper switch to delay wiper unit and also the wiper motor and park switch
