You don't have to have a phone app for displaying the OBD information, something like an Ultraguage will mount in the little gap in the middle of the instrument cluster and display all sorts of interesting information. Looks very neat and works well.
However nothing will display EGT because it's not monitored on the Defender so you'll have to add your own sensor. |

EGT can be measured on the 2.2 with an ultragauge as it has two temp sensors pre and post DPF, this is how I know mine is regenerating and not to turn it off. Also measures cylinder head temperature...
Also mounted it inside the clocks... 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

I just ordered one of these today from Redarc, they get very good reviews and are quite unique in how the work as an LCD screen, they are also metric on the EGT in degC, and in PSI for boost, which I like. https://www.redarc.com.au/monitoring-gauges-g52-bea

How do you mount the Ultraguage inside the dash? Is there a guide somewhere as I haven't found anything? -2015 Defender 90 XS Landmark-

It's not as bad as it looks, just a bit delicate.
Well worth the effort though. Here's how mine turned out.. Click image to enlarge 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Your fuel level - is it picking it up through the actual fuel sender or doing guesswork based on the MAF?
