^^ You surely don't risk a speeding ticket with those bikes if the camera would take the picture from behind.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Fired up the block heater and took the defender out for a short run, all as expected, no surprises, put away again now.

Bought 4x 120L bales of wood shavings. Thinking of removing the rear passenger seats for greater carrying capacity and before any roll cage fitted. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Pre MOT checked mine, all good underneath etc.
Think next year I could do with a Dinitrol top up. Also washed it, more cleaning to do tomorrow. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Failed MOT on a cut on tyre. Haven't even found it myself yet, will have to look and swap with the new spare and buy a new one for the opposite side. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

Finally got the replacement head which I rebuilt fitted with all the ancillaries. Purged the fuel system drained and replaced the engine oil, cranked it over and it kicked into life!
Tried to upload a short vid of the engine sounding sweet but don't think the site accepts video clips. Land Rover - Not just a vehicle , more a way of life! |

Passed MOT without any advisory notes, hurrah. Five years old and still no problems at all (other than the regular day-to-day stuff like bulbs, brake pads and wiper blades). Hurrah.

Mine also passed its MOT with no advisories, although mine's 11 years old. It has just had rather a lot of money spent on it though, so it's just as well it passed! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
