As far as I recall the 110 DCPU is not a High capacity PU whereas the 130 DCPU is a High capacity as such the chassis, suspension etc differ. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

Some good measurements there but not quite what I am looking for.
I have had a crazy idea of building a 130 DC with a flat deck and putting a Harvey Frost on the back for rally recovery. (save towing one around) might never happen but finding info is always useful 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

There is approx 24" extra bed length on a 130 DCPU over a 110 DCPU. I cannot remember by how much the 130 rear buck overhangs the rear crossmember, however, so I can't tell you the bare chassis length difference.

The 130 tub is shorter than a 110 HCPU tub but longer and wider than a 110 DCPU tub.

Thanks. Just wondering what you really gain in a 130 vs a 110 ? 1999 Defender TD5 110

If you follow the link I posted:
Bed length in mm: 110 PU: 1901 110 HCPU: 2010 110 DCPU: 1020 130 DCHCPU: 1829 So you're gaining 32" bed space, of which some (17") is from the wheelbase and the rest (15") is from a greater rear overhang. I assume a chassis cab will be similar, but you can also get 130 single cab chassis cabs. |
