Nice john, great to see the bowler mods. Is that the Mudstuff DirtDefender you have on an earlier pic?
I have the slcikshift as well. Frankly not impressed so far, really sticks in between some of the gears and actually came loose driving back from Europe last week. 2015 110 XS CSW Montalcino Red with Black Pack |

Acuss. Yes they are dirt defenders or whatever they are called. Mixed in with mud flap relocation via my good friend Gwyn Lewis and a full undershield kit.
JOW- you need some dirt defenders to stop your rear getting dirty as per your pic and yes Noldens are today's mod.😁 Still looking at the rear diff best solution. 🤓 Last edited by John Fair on 1st Nov 2016 11:07pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I guess the problem with the slick shift is that it doesn't actually reduce effort it only reduces throw. This is quite simply the engineering outcome that was intended as far as I can tell so it's not technically a fault. From my personal view my grub screw also came lose and I have resolved that issue. The throw is greatly improved but the gearbox is a slow change by nature. I have noticed it's getting even slower in the cold mornings and I may change oil grades for winter/ summer.

Yes, the Gwyn Lewis do an excellent job on the front, but you're right I do need some Dirt D Fenders on the rear, they are on my 'list' maybe Christmas
We unfortunately didn't see any golfers, I was looking forward to seeing there faces as we drive across there precious golf course (for the record, the 'BOAT' legitimately crosses the fairway!) Rear diff solution... are you wanting limited slip diff for better on-road handling or for winter traction? I guess the options are Ashcroft/Quaiffe/Truetrac ATB? Ha ha. It really was a golf course then!!! For the rear diff I'm looking for something a bit different.

Plus some seal removal. Seals are overrated and add weight. Just think of the mpg improvement from the weight saving alone 😂😂😂

So tell us more? What's special about them? What will it/they improve? James
