Still a bit uncertain on the rear as it needs a bit of visual balance yet.

Great looking Defender, those wheels are spot on, especially in anthracite!
Personally I prefer 'Land Rover' on the bonnet. Thanks JOW the bonnet is a funny one. I think I shall sleep on it for a bit and keep searching how others look.

Love the Bowlers, best wheels and best colour IMO Are the bonnet letters easy to remove? How do you do that without damaging the paintwork? Mine must have been one of the very last to have Land Rover on it rather than Defender. I may change it if it's not too difficult. I love my 90 but I keep looking at all your beautiful 110s and keep thinking awwwwww

For visual balance on the rear I've had a second fog and reversing light fitted for a bit of symmetry. Gives more light light for reversing too. James

Evening Riverboy. I haven't removed the bonnet lettering yet as I'm still undecided as to where to go with it. The other badging and previous car badging has been easy enough to remove. Strong fingers and resist the temptation to stuff a screwdriver etc behind it. Preferably on a hot sunny day or add a bit of heat without burning ie hair dryer don't tell the wife. Remove residue with petrol wd40 etc and a bit of patience. Quick polish to finish. Open beer. Stand back and admire your work.

Click image to enlarge Hi JOW. I have temporarily balanced the back with a decal. No on a serious note I have been looking at the bowler rear steps as opposed to the NAS steps which crack. Again I'm in no rush and shall decide when I've looked at a few more to see how they age. As a point of note I was a bit disappointed to see catalytic corrosion on a bowler sill protector that looked to be fairly new. |

OK thanks John. If I'm ever brave enough I'll have a bash. I suspect taking them off may be easier than putting them on, level! |
