Scary moment this morning.
Came to a bend to find a lorry coming the other direction in the middle of the road coming over to my side Had to make the split second decision I hoped never to have to make which was hit the hedge or the truck, opted for the hedge, locked up all 4 wheels and skidded down the inside of the truck with the hedge bashing the windscreen and body panels just narrowly missed the truck. I pulled over stopped and looked over to see my wing mirror folded neatly back against the side window. Lorry had continued away blissfully unaware. Hedge looked ok and much to my amazement no damage my 110! Needless to say, I wasn't happy! Will be very interested to review the dashcam footage when I get home Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Sadly I think it was a privately owned horsebox
Will have look tonight and see what it looks like. Annoyingly I don't have a converter for the SD card at work and the cable is the bigger small usb type that nobody uses for anything. Have probably got the number plate details but as there was no damage done I don't really see any point in passing it on. Live and let live and all that. If there had been damage however or it had happened after the repaint.... Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Not defending their driving at all but remember if they had horses on board they cannot brake like you can. Thank goodness no damage to them, you or the Def occurred.

110 looked calm and collect, unaware of the chaos going on around her.
The bulkhead is back in place and I think lined up a few more bits and on with the steering, heater and dash then wiring, floor, doors, wings, grill bonnet... 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Luckily there's a spotlessly clean heater box sheltering it.
I'd be on the phone tomorrow |
