Hi,
I have a bit of an issue with a new front headliner I ordered for my '95 110 SW with sunroof. Seems it's not 1-size fits all and the aperture in the ordered headlining is for a larger sunroof. (mine is 100% genuine factory and matches others of the same period) The supplier was unaware of this and has offered to cut out a new, correct aperture from a blank but they need either a template or the exact dimensions (and probably the exact coordinates of the sunroof cutout) to do so. My old headliner went in the bin so can't be used as a template and the supplier isn't local so I can't take the vehicle to him to measure. I'd attempt measuring it myself and sending him the details but it really needs to be spot on exact. Looking at online parts lists etc. I believe mine would be part ref BTR9181LUH which ties in with the VIN, between MA939976 and MA966861. I'm posting this on the off-chance (I know, unlikely) that someone may have access to drawings or something that has the correct dimensions of the above part ref. Or, does anyone have an old headliner heading for the bin that I could buy and send to the supllier? Or, maybe someone has a good suggestion as a way forward as my Landy's sitting in a garage in limbo at the moment Thanks in advance, Cheers, Andy... Hope this helps I have a cut out of a sun roof the Defender was a 300Tdi manufactured in the mid-nineties with a factory fitted sun roof. I replaced the headlining about ten years ago with one I picked up cheap but it did not have a sun roof cut out so I had to cut it out myself sadly I sold the vehicle, but I kept the cut out which was an exact fit from the original headlining in case I ever needed it again it has been stored in an outbuilding. I have measured it and the dimensions are 67 x 32.5 centimetres.

Can you be sure of the sunroof position relative to the front of the windscreen?

@justinp - I know, which is ideally why I'd like the dimensions of the headlining itself with measurements for the cutout relative to the edges etc.
I know, it's a big ask! Cheers, Andy... Edinburgh, Scotland http://24heuer.com |

BTW, if you're thinking of ordering one of these, please note that (as per the parts tree) there appear to be at least 3 different versions of front headlining, depending on your year/VIN.
