I use the aeros, very good and I think they last longer too, at the same time as looking a bit neater in my opinion Thumbs Up

I had AR13U blades but couldn't get the front jets to squirt neatly without hitting the (fatter) blade. I've gone back to the traditional type as the jet goes through gap between the frame and blade Cool  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

For reference for others I got a new rear washer jet, genuine from Dan @ Duckworth parts.
Here it is and P/N.

I have recentry changed to the aeros. Think they are better but have found the passenger side catches the rubber edge at the bottom of the windscreen on the up stroke. It makes an irritating sound!

At a recent service the dealer said this was due to these blades being longer; anyone else have this issue?

Not on mine that I've noticed, the wipers should not be near the screen rubber at all.
Are your wipers fairly aligned when parked out of use?

If not could be wear, mine sit ever so slightly down and so do most often or nit.
The extent at which though can show you how much wear is present.

How many miles have you done?

Thanks for reply.
The car is one year old and has done 8k miles.
The blades are a few weeks old and look aligned and square.

It has been back to the dealer for some work on the paint around the windscreen about one month ago for corrosion / bubbling. Wonder if they have done something when completing the work / putting it back together.
I will pick up some standard blades and see if I have the same problem.

They may well have removed the wiper arms and adjusted them so that their screen sweep is lower than it should be.
If the wipers sit level I think that could well be the likelyhood.

Blaming the wipers is an easy excuse..

Today, I fitted the new washer jet on the rear.
All is good, both jets now work and adjusted so the old one was knackered.

Glad that is sorted and only for under a tenner genuine.

HowieB - Any update at all with your issue or have you not had the chance to give it a go yet?

On a different note, today as it was raining I had my first use of the Bosch Aero's.
Combined with Rain X applied to glass as well.

They are brilliant, even better than the standard. Absolutely silent!
I'd imagine that with such a smooth sweep there would be less wear and effort for the wiper motors too.

Can only be a good thing!

Replaced the rear washer jet the other day, it now sprays through both nozzles instead of just one. Rolling Eyes
All good, was nice to see a genuine LR part 'made in UK' as well.

Very pleased now. Mr. Green

If I'd have known..

The Aeros aren't bad at £22 for all three, less for just the front. Would you like a link to where I got mine from?
Best price I could find they were.
