Keep us updated. Probably my next step too... 1999 Defender 110
2003 P38 2007 RR SC "And that's why it needs to be celebrated, because when the Defender goes we'll have lost this pointer to where we came from, and we're really going to miss it." My build thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic47750.html |

Buy my BMW Z3 3.0 M Sport?
It'll do 150mph, hit 60mph in under six seconds and is worth less than a tatty early TD5. Get your speed fix in that and save the Defender for cruising? Given both sets of keys l usually take my 110 TD5. It's standard except for EGR removal. |

^ what sort of figures does that do?
Even you bog std 120d's are doing 8 seconds to 60... and every young wipper snaper has one. Would have thought around that is as good as you get with a Defender unless you go v8? Hence when had an ML350cdi I would have loved the ML63 just not the fuel though There is a blue SVR Range rover near us that have to say sounds amazing when he gives it a prod on the go pedal, thing is it looks special in that colour would prefer more stealth. |

I'm with you on this one there is something about driving a defender fast they are such a fun vehicle to drive and you will look much cooler than in a Bmw trying to be a 4x4 tune it up and drive it flat out everywhere |

one of the coolest things i've done in my defender is drive it on gravel tracks sideways... the extra power is a must. I have the 2.2 170bhp remap from BAS - Just looking at the allisport intercooler as it requires absolutely no modifications.
both mod's well worth it in my opinion |

My TD5 has served its purpose as the work horse and still use it alot for the business. But now I want to see just how much performance I can get out of a 2.5 diesel with huge drag and alot of weight. Of course it won't be much in comparison to a sports car even though I'll end up paying the same amount haha but still why the hell not.
