I spent this weekend with our LR Club at Stourport Steam Rally. We had a quick winch demo in the main ring on both days and spent the rest of the time having a very chilled time at the Fair. Quite an enjoyable weekend bar the 15 degree slope where our stand was sited, bit of a test for my new camp set up
Click image to enlarge I now have a drive away motor caravan awning with the blow up poles, got it to fit quite snugly on the back of the Sankey To give you an idea of the slope, take a look at the water container under the trailer Click image to enlarge |

Drove to Samoens to support friends on the Etape, as they hit the lower slopes of the Joux Plaine, considered by some to be the toughest climb (albeit rarely used) in the TdF and where Armstrong famously bonked and announced after that it was the toughest day of his life, in a saddle. Happy to say all friends who entered completed the Etape, so we'll done them.

Watched my daughter take the light surrounds off the pick up. My son then rubbed them down a bit and 'we' sprayed them with primer and matt black. I don't think it would win any awards but it was a good experience.

Not today, because smashed my iPhone so couldn't get the photo but finally got this lot fitted and working, really happy with how it all turned out, although the paint job could be better.

At the weekend, attended Kimbolton Country Fair in the grounds of Kimbolton School (aka Hogwarts). Great event, even had a fly past by one of the BBMF Spitfires
