Defender Front Heated Screen wiring query
Howdy,
I have fitted a new front heated screen to my defender 90. It is a non genuine screen that has three wiring connections on its bottom edge. (one at either end and one in the middle).

I do not know what the three connectors need to be connected to?

My bulkhead loom has a connection on either side that I assume is the power, and I am wondering if the central connection on the screen is the earth?

Can anyone advise me on how the new screen needs to be connected please.

Appreciated!
Very Happy
Bruce S

Perhaps best is to measure with a voltmeter the voltage to a known ground point before making the connections.

If your pre-fitted wiring loom only has two connections at the ends and none in the middle I suppose one of these will be ground and the other the positive feed.

Also interesting to know is that the heated front screen is normally powered through a time limited relay which will cut the power to the heating wires after several minutes.
This to prevent continuous operation.
The relay that I bought for this purpose is PRC6796.
