Rolling with laughter sorry Whistle the ones I deal with seem to expect me to do the job I pay them to do Rolling Eyes and the filthy state some people leave houses in disgusts me, I don't claim to be a clean freak but the bathroom that was supposedly cleaned for two hours and the filth on the grout and tiles that "just wouldn't move" I went round one tile with cleaning products for 60 seconds and to my amazement it was clean Shocked

Ahhh, rental agencies. Now they even I wouldn't trust. Lots of part timers in that game. Not specialists like me Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Monsieur Le Grenadier

I should have heeded Happyoldgit's warnings about Scottish Power Shocked

Despite emailing them with my move in date meter readings, as witnessed by my Estate Agent (who is lovely and has been very helpful) they managed to get rate 1 and 2 mixed up, and rounded down.

The outcome being that at one point they put my usage as 8438kwh of electric for 2 months! Banging Head

If I hadn't noticed they had put my direct debit up from £45/mo to £250/mo they would not have told me ether Thud

I brought this to there attention at the beginning of June and only after sending a strongly worded email last night have I got a response and hopefully some sort of resolution today!

The plus side being I can finally stop using candle light and we can have a meal not cooked on a tdi turbochager Laughing Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Well, what can I say, Scottish Power have out done themselves.

Having said "yep there is something wrong with your bill, we can amend it" they have definitely changed it.

They now recon, since me and my girlfriend moved into our 2 bed flat at the end of December, I have used a day rate of 705kwh, ok for 6 months I'd say that was about right considering we are out at work all day, yep fair.

And a night rate of 97,264.06 Kwh, which brings my total bill for 6 months of electricity only to £7275.

Jolly good, that looks correct does it not Banging Head

Now I have to tell them I wont be paying there direct debit amount of £550 a month and will be requesting them to double check there sums or change the meter.

I also feel a email to Ofcom coming on......... Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Ronaldo.

43 direct free kicks in major competitions and not one scored. Shocked How big is his ego and how lacking in confidence are the rest of the Portugese team and manager that they don't have the gumption to take the ball off him and say "You know what mate, you've had your chance and you missed. Now it's my turn".

I don't follow Portugese football, but there must be a stat somewhere showing what effect these missed goals have had in terms of winning/losing matches and progression in said tournaments.
