I don't see those rear light guards lasting long either Shocked

Had landyglass on my xtech but I am not a fan of the rear glass, cut around the hinge. Plus no going back with it!

I agree, it doesn't look great. I'm also not sure how it would get fixed if broken.

The build looks great... Thumbs Up

Cheers

Head is sore trying to finalise the interior!! All my parts are into the factory from Monday so went to the dealer to look at the options. Ivory was everywhere, one almond discovery which was not pleasant, some red, a cirrus, espresso vouge, no tan.

I have made the decision though, I hope.

^^ Will look like yellow candlelights when on with your LED headlights. Now that you are at it, maybe need to change your LED headlamps back to halogens too now. Laughing You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

After considering some 265 KO2's i then back tracked to keep the 285 KO's. But while in the garage i made a huge call.... the put the white letters on the inside! Rolling with laughter I have had the letters out on the past X tech and this since i got them, always got grubby looking. time for a fresh start after lots of scrubbing and autosmart tyre dressing to recover them.

Cant wait to get the suspension fitted and see the rear drop level.

Hmmm, tough call that, have a mate with the Corris twisted wheels, i could try his spare on i guess and see.

Ian at IRB is putting togther the AP BBK, it will be nice to see them tucked in behind the wheel. i gone for the red calipers. Andy

The black looks great, it's purely personal preference. I wouldn't change in hindsight, as if you went for Corris wheels you'd probably end up having to go Corris roof too!! I'll keep my mouth shut Shocked James

Well I have to post and say what a fantastic thread! I've just read all 37 pages.

You are clearly a talented and patient man Andy.

As a prospective owner such information is inspirational. To see what can be done with the correct expertise (and money no doubt) reinforces my desire to ditch the Range and join the world of the Defender. It started as a mid-life crisis thing but seems to be gaining traction Shocked

many congratulations on a fantastic looking vehicle - you should be very proud. Thumbs Up

PS if you like your toys - have you considered a Range Rover style venture cam - useful bit of kit. Wannabe Defender Owner - on the hunt.

Well Andy, when i read you had put the white lettering on the inside, i thought, Shocked but seeing the ' after ' pic, your landy looks very mean and when you get the new suspension on , will be very, very mean ( imo of course ) just love it Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
