Back from my mates body shop late today, looks like new. Dents all gone from the roof, head lamp guards gone, twisted series style front fitted with the twisted black steering guard. Then the twisted Java black drl bumper and zunsport mesh side and wing top covers...Yes it's a softer look but i love the front end now, only thing I need to decide on is either the twisted grille or the zunsport with lazers??? Next move is Friday to fit the full twisted progressive suspension setup with the option for -1" on the rear

The headlight guards were the only thing I didn't like about your defender so you have my Thumbs Up there and I love the zunsport grille but.... I'm not so keen on the new headlight surrounds Whistle although still great attention to detail Thumbs Up Ray

Lol, the guards annoyed me since day one so glad they are away. The new surrounds are probably better in the flesh, just want to try different things. This is the third front end since I got it!!! The thing I was thinking was to add the soft a bar back? What do you think? Andy

This will look very nice, very neat - a different beast to the previous look, but still a beast nevertheless. I think if you like the soft a bar, then put it back on. I think it will look nice, and it can go well with 'performance oriented' Defenders - it looks good on Likeomg's 90 or Jomara's 110 with Bowlers on. I myself like the a bar and have had an internal fight for quite a while if I should put one on or not. I say go for it, you can take it off if you don't like it in the end, but in my opinion it will look good on yours. MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

That's the best and worst thing about defender ownership, you feel it's totally acceptable to chop and change bits!! I am sure it will evolve some more from here Whistle Andy

I may be biased at loving the look of a bars on defenders but won't it block your laser lamps on the grille? If not then I'd say put it on but obviously its your motor so if you like it you should do what you want Mr. Green Ray

Got the DRL's up and running, quite a nice surprise to find they stay on for around 10secs after I get out and walk off, this is just because of the delay in the ignition positive module I am using with the fuse box. Really not sure I am going to use the zunsport/Lazer grille, love the plain twisted mesh grille, it's a different mesh to the zunsport.

They are the horns grille insert, part of the twisted kit

Your 110 & all the things you had done to yours convinced me to go for a 110.

I really like the tidy uncluttered look of the front now Thumbs Up

Personally the side window grilles spoil it for me, I think internal ones look a lot neater but boring if we all liked the same Thumbs Up

keep up the good work & inspiration 2020 P300 HSE

Loving the new look, this is how I want mine.... Thumbs Up
That Twisted grill kit is quite a few £££s though compared with the Zunsport one.

Thanks
The guards don't bother me at the minute. To be fair to Twisted the quality of the cutting and powder coating blows the internal ones I have on the back out off the water. I also went for these as I can also pop out the complete window and go back to factory. Thumbs Up Andy
