Why Shocked Question if you do change retain your original parts as changing the front will affect the desireabilty and resale value.

To change (from looking at mine) you'll need a air con front panel as the SVX is different, the standard grille and headlamp surrounds 2x indicator lamps, 2x side lamps, the plastic clips you screw them into, You'll possibly need to alter the wiring as the SVX has side lamps in the head lamps or you could leave your headlights alone and have two indicator lamps on each side? That would save having to alter the loom.

It's not a difficult job to do or going to be that expensive exept maybe painting the new front panel into Santorini black but not hard Thumbs Up Formerly mao99999

Just to clarify!

Don’t want SVX !!! as I have (2) sets, thus have 2 standard XS sets spare!

Perhaps best if you change .................to retain your SVX set for refitting if you ever sell ?

No the grille is the same moulding as the front panel on the SVX totally different to the normal and air con type very flimsy and cheap looking at that Rolling Eyes you have to remove the front panel and surround to replace a head/side or indicator bulb Laughing

I too wasn't that keen on the front end at first but it's grown on me and the aux driving lights are superb Thumbs Up Formerly mao99999

Come on MSE, we (the SVX front enders) know you don't like it but don't keep telling us ! The SVX front end looks better in the flesh.
