Mine had that problem - was a simple fuse behind offside front speaker.

Hi, yes I've changed the battery in the fob. I'll see if it's a fuse.

After a Fob battery change you may need to resync it:
>> Push lock 4 times then unlock It'll be unresponsive until the unlock. Hopefully that's all it is. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

My TD5 (Same alarm I believe) Only flashes 1 side, 95% of the time. Every so often, both sides flash. Both fobs are the same, and it's not a battery issue as it never flashed at all until I replaced the fob battery!
And yes, indicators and hazards work fine. |

Yip, same 10AS unit in TDCi and TD5.
The battery replacement thing seems random with my vehicle, I only discovered it the last time I did a swap, about 4 replacements prior never had the issue. I also had an intermittent indicator repeater, that decided to operate with no apparent rhyme or reason, suspect it was a corroded connection... Fuse sounds likely, if it's all of them. Actually, should ask: do the indicator 'indicators' (in the dash) light up? Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

Ok turns out the fuse under the drivers seat for the alarm was missing altogether, the previous owner had dogs so probably a simple solution to disabling the sensors but not the locking. Fuse in and all is working fine, indicators flash and alarm triggers as it should. Thanks for all the suggestions.
